Chris Eatough is the Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator for the Howard County Office of Transportation since September 2013. Prior to that he held a similar position for Arlington, Virginia. In a previous career, Chris traveled the world as a professional endurance cyclist, including six world championships in 24 Hour Solo Mountain Bike Racing (google it). As a Howard County employee and resident with two children in the public school system and deep roots in the community, Chris is focused on improving street safety for all, providing equitable transportation options, and helping create a bikeable and walkable Howard County.

Bruce Gartner joined Howard County in April 2019 after spending over 20 years at the Maryland Department of Transportation where he served in various government affairs, finance, planning, policy and management positions. After his tenure at MDOT and prior to becoming Administrator, he was a Client Account Manager in the Baltimore office of Jacobs Engineering and worked on several transit and highway projects in the region.

Betsy Schultz is a Phys Ed teacher at Bellows Spring Elementary. She conducts bicycle safety and skill training, including YouTube videos, organizes "walking school bus,” bike to school and coaches Girls on the Run. She and her husband Jon are competitive cyclists and Jon is a bicycle commuter.

Carol Kachadoorian from dblTilde Collaborative has a passion for helping people create communities that support active transportation. She has collaborated with communities to develop plans for neighborhood circulation, trail connections, and safe routes to school, finding the balance between big data and personal experience to determine feasible changes to transportation systems that make travel by all modes safe, accessible, and comfortable for all ages and abilities.
